Financial advice - frequently asked questions
Where is my nearest adviser?
We have advisers based across the UK, who are happy to visit you at your home or office. Use our UK location map to find your nearest adviser.
How much will advice cost?
This is understandably one of the most common questions we are asked. As we tailor our service to meet each client's requirements there is no fixed price list.
However you can rest assured that the initial consultation is free and you are under absolutely no obligation to proceed. If you choose to go ahead we will clearly detail the likely costs and charges and can arrange to work on either a fee-paying or commission basis.

Is the advice I receive independent and impartial?
Yes. Many financial advisers in the UK can only recommend products or services from one or a limited number of companies. Such tied advisers actually work for the product providers, attempting to find a product to suit you from a restricted range of options.
Our advisers select investments from across the whole market. We are not tied to any bank, investment house or insurance company and can always act in your best interests.
Will my adviser be fully qualified?
Yes. In fact we encourage our Financial Practitioners to continue their studies and gain qualifications at a much higher standard than the minimum required by our regulators. Each of them is selected for their integrity, knowledge and experience. They can give you details of their qualifications and individual experience on request.
I'm not sure whether I really need advice; what should I do?
Many people are not certain that they need advice. We have structured our service to ensure that you understand the benefits and costs before you make any commitment.
Our experts on the helpdesk are on hand to answer any questions you may have and our free no-obligation initial consultation will make sure you are firmly in the picture before making a decision.

All the details you give us will be treated in the strictest confidence, and you need not disclose anything which you do not wish to.
