Where can I invest?
Within a Stocks & Shares ISA with Hargreaves Lansdown you can invest in any combination of:
- Funds - almost any fund open to private investors (our clients currently hold over 2,000 different funds between them)
- The vast majority of shares traded on the London Stock Exchange; the DOW 30; Nasdaq 100; S&P 500; European top 300 shares
- Corporate Bonds
- Government Gilts
- Investment Trusts
- Exchange Traded Funds
You can open your ISA with cash and then make an investment when an opportunity arises. Holding cash is also useful if you want to sell an investment and hold the proceeds as cash before making another investment.
Deciding where to invest
For some investors nothing beats the thrill of choosing their own stocks and shares. Others prefer to entrust the choice of shares to experts and choose funds. However, the choice of over 2,000 funds can at times be a little daunting but we help you in many ways to identify the funds that show the potential to perform well.
