Our website aims to put you firmly in control of your investments - giving you access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not only can you view your investments online, but you can buy, sell and switch between investments. You can even top up your ISA using your debit card and amend your regular savings instructions.

You'll have access to a summary of all your holdings, details of previous transactions, and be able to view, download and print copies of your statements. You can check in an instant how much money you have available to invest.

All this helps you track the performance of your investments and allows you to react to the latest investment opportunities at the click of a mouse. The online facility is available as standard to all Hargreaves Lansdown clients at no charge.

You'll also receive email updates on many of the funds and shares you hold helping you stay up to date with all the latest news and research on your investments.

New online tool: Portfolio analysis

Portfolio Analysis is a powerful new tool that will make managing your portfolio easier. The service analyses all of the investments you hold, and X-ray's your unit trusts, to build a detailed picture of your entire portfolio.

It covers funds, shares, corporate bonds and gilts held in the Vantage ISA, SIPP and Fund & Share account. ISAs and funds which are held outside of Vantage are also included, so long as we are registered as your broker.

To give you an idea of how the service works we have provided an example of the interactive analysis. This example doesn't allow you to add or remove holdings and look at how the changes would affect your portfolio, as you can in the real thing, but it does show you what the analysis includes.
