HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier It has been an extremely difficult period for this fund. Being unconstrained makes it a higher risk income fund. As conviction in a stock increases so does the risk of it going against the fund manager’s research and analysis, something which has been prevalent this year. The main cause of underperformance has been the exposure to financials and firms exposed to the property sector. We expect the fund to outperform in a recovery.
