HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier The fund made a good start to 2008 although it has suffered heavily in the second half of the year. Robin Geffen visited Russia recently to gain a perspective of the situation. The companies he saw are performing well and meeting their targets for this year and appear to be on course for next. Russia has a very high level of surplus cash of $750 billion in its reserve fund making it extremely cash rich and able to provide finance where necessary.
