HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier Despite last year’s volatility, the Russian economy is still relatively strong and we are pleased to see the recent pick up in the market. The Russian government has been proactive in using its reserves to address problems. The fund remains focused on larger companies, favouring mobile phone companies which have benefited from strong consumer growth. Elsewhere, exposure to energy has increased as these are expected to grow and return a profit.
