About the Fund Manager
Kim Catechis
Located in: Edinburgh
Kim is Head of the Asian and Global Emerging Markets Equity Desk at SWIP. He is lead manager of our Best Ideas GEM strategy and is responsible for research in the energy sector. He joined SWIP in 1996 and was appointed Head of our Global Emerging Markets team in 1998. Kim previously worked at Threadneedle Investment Management, establishing and managing their asset management operation in Madrid from 1990. Previously, he was a European equity portfolio manager at Edinburgh Fund Managers. Kim holds a BA and an MBA from Stirling University, and speaks eight languages.
