Bryn joined Rathbones in November 2004. He is co-manager of the Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund alongside Julian Chillingworth.

Bryn has over 11 years of investment experience in both equity and fixed income markets, gained with organisations such as Robert Fleming Investment Management, Coutts & Co., and Schroder Investment Management. Immediately prior to joining Rathbones, he was Portfolio Manager (Assistant Vice President) - Fixed Income at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Latterly, this was within the private investors' division, managing a wide range of portfolios including institutional charity accounts; the Merrill Lynch Balanced and the Merrill Lynch Income portfolios; unauthorised unit trusts; and segregated private client portfolios.

Bryn has a BA Honours in Geography. He holds the Investment Management Certificate; the IAQ Merit Award; and has passed the IAQ Introduction to Securities and Investments examination.

A keen footballer, Bryn has represented London Banks against the Royal Marines, and has played hockey for Gravesend, Kent (national division two).
