Alex joined the Global Equity Funds team at Insight as a director April 2003, moving across from Rothschild Asset Management (RAM) following its acquisition. He currently runs a range of global retail and institutional portfolios. In addition to this, he manages the Insight European Ethical and Evergreen retail funds. He joined the International Equities department at RAM in 1997. Having started by looking at emerging markets his role was quickly expanded to work on the global funds with a strong emphasis on stock selection. He managed a number of funds that were global equity long only portfolios and has a track record for running these funds of more than five years.Alex holds a BA (Hons) in Combined Social Sciences from Durham University. He completed the IIMR examinations in June 1999 and is a member of AIMR.
