About the Fund Manager
Thomas Beevers
Located in: London
Tom graduated from Cambridge University with an MA (Hons) in Natural Sciences. Following graduation, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as an auditor in the Financial Services Division, and within just three years qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA). After qualification, Tom transferred to the Corporate Finance division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was involved in the flotation of several high profile companies on the London Stock Exchange. In 2004, Tom moved to Newton as a Junior Fund Manager on the European Desk. His initial position involved liasing with analysts and researching stock ideas for the European funds. Tom's educational background gave him an advantage in analysing many of the Science-based stocks in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors. In 2006 Tom was promoted to Associate Director, and since summer 2007 he has taken the lead role in managing the Pan European model.
