John Millar

John joined Stewart Ivory in 1992, initially as a graduate trainee and then as a member of that company's Japan team. He moved to their Europe desk in 1998 and was appointed head of the team following Stewart Ivory's takeover by Colonial First State. John joined Martin Currie's Japan team in 2000 and was made a director of the company in 2002. He is the lead manager of our Japan Oeic and Sicav funds. John also manages the Martin Currie Pacific Trust, as well as our core institutional mandates that are measured against the Topix index.
