Alex is a Fund Manager in the Index Funds team. His primary responsibilities are the management of the European and Emerging Market Index funds, along with joint responsibility for the North American Index funds. He also manages the Global Infrastructure Index fund. He joined LGIM in 2001 from Citigroup Asset Management, where he gained four years investment experience specialising in Emerging Markets, in both custody operations and as an assistant fund manager. Alex obtained a degree in Economics and Philosophy from Southampton University and also holds the Investment Management Certificate. Alex is a member of the FTSE/JSE Committee and the Liffe Buy Side Advisory panel.
