Higher quality corporate bonds have come under severe pressure this year as a knock on effect from the problems in the banking sector. While the managers believe recent government intervention is positive they are still cautious about the economic outlook. They are therefore placing emphasis on bonds with greater security and covenants attached to them. With this in mind the fund should perform well over the long term.

He was appointed in 2000 and is responsible for managing corporate bond portfolios for institutional and retail clients. Sajiv graduated from the University of Hull in 1991 in Economic & Social History and holds an MA in Modern International Studies from the University of Leeds. Sajiv is AA rated by Citywire.
