With many obstacles to overcome, the managers feel the remainder of 2010 is likely to be tough as economic uncertainty prevails. In this environment, they believe a stock picking fund like this is well placed to outperform. While the fund invests in some of the large household names, importantly the managers also seek growth opportunities amongst smaller companies in the less mainstream parts of the market.

Lead Manager of the Rensburg UK Equity Income Trust since January 1995.
Lead Manager of the Rensburg UK Blue Chip Growth since September 2000.
Joint Manager for the Rensburg UK Managers' Focus Trust from launch September 2006.
Professional Qualifications: IMC, FSI (Dip).
Investment Experience: Colin began his career in 1983 as a trainee stockbroker with Wise Speke & Co, before joining Rensburg in 1988, initially as a Private Client Executive and subsequently as an Investment Manager in 1991.
Further Information: Funds that Colin currently manages include the Rensburg UK Equity Income Trust, Rensburg UK Blue Chip Growth Trust and a portion of the Rensburg UK Managers' Focus Trust. In addition to these, the fund manager also runs a segregated mandate for Russell and is the Investment Director for Rensburg Fund Management Limited. Colin is 'A' rated by OBSR and the Equity Income Trust is rated Elite with Morningstar.
