Find out how to invest in this fundHL Research - Our view on this Fund
It has been an interesting period for corporate bonds following the market volatility and an economic slowdown. Valuations and yields are looking extremely attractive in many areas of the bond market and we believe there is potential for solid long term returns from the sector. With this in mind Jupiter is looking to capture the opportunities in the bond market using the expertise of Ariel Bezalel. He has over 10 years experience in bond markets and has co-managed the bond portion of the Jupiter Global Managed Fund and the Jupiter High Income Fund.
The fund can exploit opportunities across the bond spectrum ranging from higher risk, high yield bonds to the higher quality areas of the market. There will be a minimum of 20% in high yield bonds although at launch the expected asset allocation is likely to be 60% in high yield bonds.
At launch there is also likely to be a bias in the European market and the manager will look to take advantage of the financial sector where many bonds are offering attractive growth prospects.
