HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier Akira Yoshimi has been quick to react to changes in the market. At the start of this year the fund was biased towards the export sectors which proved beneficial. As investors became risk averse he increased exposure to more defensive areas like food, telecoms and utilities which are expected to weather the storm. He feels we could be reaching a bottom in the market and is looking to invest in companies well placed to benefit from any recovery.
