HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier The economic backdrop in the UK remains difficult and weak growth is expected to persist into 2009. In light of this Dan Nickols believes it is still too early to invest in the economically sensitive areas of the market. While the fund’s exposure to oil has caused weakness recently, there has been positive contribution from the software and media sectors. Smaller companies have struggled but we remain bullish on the long term prospects.
