Ece chairs the Credit Portfolio Construction Group and runs Global High Yield and segregated emerging
market portfolios. She is also responsible for research into emerging debt markets in both hard and local currency. Ece joined Baring Asset Management as a Fund Manager in 2003. Previously she worked at M&G Investment Management Ltd as a Director of Fixed Interest Portfolio Management, where she managed both gilt portfolios and emerging market debt funds. Ece has a M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Economics and Politics from Bristol University. She was awarded the CFA designation in 2000. Ece speaks Turkish, Dutch and German fluently.
