He joined Pictet Asset Management in 1998, initially concentrating on South Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

David graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with a degree in mathematics in 1992 before completing his Cambridge studies in 1998 with a PhD in pure mathematics. He holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder."
