HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier Lee Gardhouse has focused the fund’s UK equity income exposure down to the managers in which he has the utmost conviction and who are positioned defensively in these challenging markets. A significant addition to the portfolio has been the new breed of absolute return funds, which have the ability to cushion investors from some of the sharp losses in the market. This should help the fund to ride out market storms better in future.
