James has a first class honours degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University and is an ACA and CFA charterholder. James is the Chief Investment Officer of Skandia Investment Management Limited, and previously held the roles of Skandia's Head of Equity Research and Head of UK Equity Manager Research. James has over nine years industry experience having been an accountant with KPMG for four years and a Japanese equity analyst with Orbis for four years prior to joining the Skandia Investment Research Team in 2002.

Ryan joined Skandia Investment Management Ltd in January 2006 from Chartwell Asset Management. At Chartwell, Ryan was Head of Discretionary Management, where he was running Multimanager portfolios for private clients as well as having significant involvement in the marketing and PR functions. Ryan has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and is a holder of both the Financial Planning Certificate and Investment Management Certificate. Ryan has over 7 years investment experience.

Ian Aylward
Located in: Southampton

Ian has a BA (Hons) in Economics and an MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick University Business School. He has been an Affiliate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals since 1999. He has ten years industry experience having previously worked as an equity and fund analyst and fund manager with CIS, Rothschild and Collins Stewart. He joined the Skandia Investment Research Team in 2002 and is responsible for Multi-Asset and Alternatives manager research including Property, Ethical and Hedge Funds.
