About the Fund Manager
Stuart J McMaster
Located in: Edinburgh
Stuart is an investment director in the global bonds and economics team. As head of bond fund management he oversees the management of all fixed income funds, and is lead manager on a number of large institutional portfolios. Stuart is a member of the bond policy group, where he leads on the asset allocation between government bonds and credit for all balanced fixed income funds. Stuart joined the group as an investment manager in 1992 to manage a range of unit-linked and life funds invested in credit and gilts. He has been a key player in the formation of SWIP's bespoke research process, and this remains a fundamental part of Stuart's work when creating bond policy and overall bond strategy. He became head of corporate bonds in 1998. Before joining the group, Stuart worked at Standard Life for 12 years.

Alix is an investment director in the global bonds and economics team, focusing on corporate bonds. She manages several of the Hill Samuel range of OEIC's including SWIP's Higher Alpha Corporate Bond Offering and European Corporate Bonds.
