Richard Penny is a senior fund manager of UK Equities and UK Smaller Companies as well as a sector analyst for Construction, Healthcare, Technology and Other Financials. Richard graduated from Ocford University with a degree in Meng Engineering and Economics. He started his investment career in 1992 at Scottish Amicable Investment Management where he managed the Scottish Amicable Smaller Companies fund. In 1996, he joined M&G Investment Management where he was responsible for the M&G Smaller Companies Unit trust, the M&G Smaller Companies Pooled Pension Fund and the M&G Innovator Fund. He joined LGIM in February 2002. Richard is qualified associate of UKSIP and a member of the UK Techmark voting panel.
