Robert has over 16 years of industry experience. He joined F&C in 2001 as Head of US Smaller Companies. Robert is currently the lead fund manager on the F&C US Smaller Companies Fund and F&C US Smaller Companies Investment Trust. He started his career at accountants Coopers & Lybrand before joining Capel Cure Capital Management as a US Portfolio Manager in 1988. In 1992 Robert moved to Gartmore as a fund manager and subsequently became Head of US Equities. Robert has a BA (Hons) and DPhil from Oxford University, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
