About the Fund Manager
Dean Newman
Located in: Henley
Dean joined INVESCO in 1993 as a member of its Emerging Markets team. Dean has been a driving force behind the group's emerging markets investment strategy with many years experience of Latin American and EMEA ex Eastern Europe equity markets. Dean is responsible for all retail and institutional global emerging market funds managed in Henley. He began his investment career in 1985 joining Legal and General where he covered the UK equities markets, moving to a Japanese bank, Sanwa, in 1991 where he was Head of UK Equities. He holds a BA, Economics & Politics from Durham University.
