HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier The financial sector has been through a tough period recently. The fund has held higher than normal levels of cash but it has not been immune to the volatility. It continues to steer clear of major domestic banks in the UK, US, Ireland and Spain. Instead, it prefers regions where there is evidence of growth like Asia. Interesting opportunities are appearing in Japan but the risks of a downturn will be monitored carefully.
