HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier Emerging markets have been affected by the more cautious tone dominating global markets. The fund began the year with a bias in China, Russia and Brazil. As the Chinese authorities announced measures to cool their market Chris Palmer began to reduce exposure. As political tensions erupted in Russia he has also lowered exposure here. He is becoming more excited by the prospects in some regions, like Asia, which are trading on attractive valuations.
