About the Fund Manager
Christine Baalham
Located in: London
Christine assumed responsibility for the UK Blue Chip Fund and the GSF UK Equity Fund in July 2004 and also has additional responsibilities for analysing the UK Financial sector.
Previously, she was responsible for the management of the £13m International Equity Fund since its launch in March 2003 and analysed the Global Financial sector as one of the five heads of global sector teams.
Prior to Investec, Christine worked for Schroders, where she was recruited as part of the Schroder Investment Management Graduate Training Programme in 1996. She spent one year on the UK Fund Management desk before joining the research department for two years as the UK Insurance Analyst. Christine gained a Master of Philosophy degree in Chemistry from Cambridge University after she graduated from the university in 1995 with a 1st class degree in Natural Sciences.
