Rory is an investment director in the European equities team and manages the SWIP Pan European Smaller Companies Fund. His research responsibilities include the mining sector. Until September 2004 Rory worked as an investment director on the SWIP emerging markets desk with responsibility for the Latin American OEIC. He was also SWIP's global mining analyst from 2003. Prior to joining the group, he worked with Edinburgh Fund Managers in a number of teams, latterly on the Japanese desk. Rory holds an MA (Hons) in Hispanic studies from St Andrews University and an MSc diploma in investment analysis and finance from Stirling University. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
