About the Fund Manager
Andrew Impey
Located in: London
Andrew Impey is Director of Investment Management and Chief Investment Officer. Andrew joined Singer & Friedlander in 2002. He is responsible for the investment process and is Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee. He manages the UK Growth and Model Portfolio OEIC funds and the Growth, Balanced and Income Models as well as some of the larger institutional portfolios. Andrew has over 20 years experience as a fund manager and has managed a broad range of funds including pension funds, charities, unit & investment trusts and specialist mandates. He started his career in the City in 1982 at stockbrokers Strauss Turnbull & Co and in 1988 he joined River & Mercantile Investment Management where he worked for 5 years as a fund manager. He then joined Dresdner RCM Global Investors (Kleinwort Benson / Thornton) where he was a senior director on the UK equity desk responsible for £500m of small and mid cap funds.
