Alastair is part of a five strong team of retail equity fund managers at AEGON. He took over responsibility for managing the AEGON European fund in February 2002. He has worked with the European equity team since he joined AEGON Asset Management in1999 and was manager of the AEGON European Smaller Companies fund, `A` rated by Standard & Poor`s and OBSR. Alastair became manager of the AEGON UK Tactical fund in January 2003. Before joining AEGON, Alastair spent 6 years with Ivory & Sime, where he was head of Large Cap Continental European Equities. Alastair has an MBA from Edinburgh University Management School and is an associate of the AIIMR.
