HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier In the current economic headwinds, Peter Saacke remains focused on companies that have fallen out of favour but are managing to deliver positive earnings surprises. With this in mind he has lowered the fund’s positioning in banks as they are likely to disappoint in the near term. He is drawn to the more resilient businesses like utilities and other companies with strong balance sheets and as little debt as possible.
