About the Fund Manager
Gerald Smith
Located in: Edinburgh
Born 1962 and graduated MA in Philosophy from St. Andrews University, and B.Phil. in Philosophy from Brasenose College, Oxford. Gerald joined Baillie Gifford in 1987 and became a Partner in 1998. Gerald is currently Head of the Emerging Markets Investment Team and is a member of both the IPC and the EMIPC.
