Finlay graduated from Strathclyde University in 1993 with an Honours degree in Finance and Management Studies. After graduating, he spent 3 years at Allied Provincial Securities working in private client fund management, before moving to Glasgow Investment Managers in October 1996. Finlay obtained a Diploma from the Securities Institute in 1996. He joined Resolution's UK equity desk as an investment manager in August 2003. His sector coverage includes Support Services, Oils and Household Goods & Textiles and Beverages.
