HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier As the outlook for the UK economy is poor, Derek Stuart has been focusing on companies with an international bias and with little dependence on the UK. He has avoided the poorer areas of the market like house building, retail and leisure which have come under pressure in the slowdown. The fund has exposure to companies like Shell, BP and British Energy which should serve the fund well going forward but he believes patience is essential.
