Sarah Williams is an Executive Director on the Japan desk. She is responsible for constructing Japanese institutional portfolios. Sarah joined Threadneedle in October 2004 and has 18 years' investment experience, including more than 10 years managing Japanese equities. She previously worked for Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and Hill Samuel Asset Management for over 10 years, latterly as an investment director. She also worked at Cresvale Asset Management and Target Investment Management. Sector responsibilities include Financials, defensive sectors such as Utilities and Pharmaceuticals, and in the technology area Japanese component companies.Sarah has a degree in Classics (First Class) from University College, London University.
