Gianluca joined Baring Asset Management as an Investment Manager in the Pan European Small-Mid Cap Team in August 2004. . He is responsible for analysis of European stocks with particular emphasis on German stocks. Prior to joining Baring Asset Management Gianluca worked at Fidelity Investments where he spent two years as an Equity Analyst, specialising in Small Cap EU Capital Goods Exploration, and Production stocks. Before joining Fidelity Gianluca was an equity analyst at Schroders Investment Management, London. Gianluca graduated from Universita' La Sapienza in Rome in 1996 with a Degree in Economics and Business Studies. Gianluca also has the IIMR qualification. He is fluent in Italian and French.
