HL Research - Our view on this Fund

The fund has struggled due to its large exposure to the financial and energy sectors, both of which have proven exceptionally weak in recent months. Davis’ Advisors are keen to point out that they do not make forecasts for the economy and focus on investing in durable businesses with long term growth prospects. The key point they stress is they aim to hold companies for the long term.
