HL Research - Our view on this Fund

Mark Dampier Although the fund has been through a difficult patch this year Philip Wolstencroft is relatively upbeat about the fund’s long term prospects. He believes the companies held in the portfolio offer strong profit growth despite a slowing European economy. The fund’s underperformance this year is attributed to its bias in European banks which have been volatile, but we believe a long term outlook would be wise.
